Chairman Paolo Zeno arrived in Senegal along with Co-Chairman, Antonio Zeno late evening on Sunday, 24 August 2014 for the inauguration of Zeno Brothers Construction Branch Office in Dakar. The two leaders of Zeno Group of Companies brought along Senior Engineers of the company. The group will be in Dakar for a week to meet and finalize the developments that the company pre-defined for completion in the Republic. Meetings will be with different financial firms, banking institutions, ministry officials, landowners, cooperatives, and individuals in which will be taking part in different projects of Zeno Brothers Construction in Senegal.

Zeno Group Investments, Inc., a Private Financial Group and one of the subsidiaries of Zeno Group of Companies will support the financial aspects of Zeno Brothers Construction’s projects. Both companies, currently led by the Zeno brothers will focus its initiatives on developments and investments that are in line with the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA).  TIFA is a signed agreement between United States and The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), which is in conjunction with the White House’s announcement that major American companies have committed to invest $14 billion in Africa’s future. TIFA aims to expand trade and investment between the United States and the 15 ECOWAS member states, and across the entire West African region.

The launch of Zeno Brothers Construction will unveil various projects that the Company intends to initiate in the country and the government of Senegal will commission majority of its programs.  The Company will be working directly with the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Ministry of Houses in developing different strategic locations nationally. These projects will bring in positive impact to Senegal by generating more jobs for its people, and improve their quality of life.  Zeno Brothers Construction together with Zeno Group Investments is also in support to the World Bank’s program on building and developing energy, civil and industrial infrastructures in all ECOWAS states to help stabilize the growing economy in West Africa.

The primary focus of Zeno Brothers Construction is its social housing project, which will provide an eco-friendly housing community to the Senegalese people. The Company will play a pivotal role in developing a stable and sustainable community that will uphold the welfare and wellbeing of the people residing in Senegal.

Aside from the positive societal impact of the projects that Zeno Brothers Construction plans to accomplish, there will also be huge financial and economic progress that will be underway when these projects come to life. Investors will pour in from every region, strengthening the industries and overall economy of Senegal. Collaborations and partnerships with different multinational companies will take place and the State will be open for more business opportunities and investments.

Mr. Mamadou Seye, the newly appointed Site Manager of Zeno Brothers Construction, will be representing the company in Senegal. As the authorized representative of the Company in the State and its Site Manager, he has the direct and full management of the business operation of the Company in Senegal.‏
